For the
remainder of Spring Semester 2018, Graduate

for MCOM 215 class updates from Prof. Rucker.
This graduate program guest lecture
seminar will enable students to interact
with visiting media industry and Silicon
Valley national and international
experts and leaders focused on the
development of innovative thinking and
practices
in the media. Through
probative critical thinking
interactions, students will identify
the
latest thinking and technological
advances that drive media strategic
planning
for the 21st
century.
Questioning should focus on insightful variables in integrated
communication strategies.
Among them are the impact of big data, the unique perspectives of
different generations
and cultural communities, intellectual
property concerns, financial planning,
creative design and development, and
diversity inclusion in leadership
decision making.
Weekly Assignments: Research each
announced guest speaker in advance and
develop a list of questions designed to
draw out key information
about the planning and forward-thinking
nature of the media
or business enterprise.
Those
MCOM 215 students who did
not arrange for a guest speaker
should plan to participate in a TV studio
roundtable discussion focused
on current events posted below during this past
semester.
The final exam date for this class in the
university schedule
would be
the assigned production
date and time:
May
21st from 5:15 to 7:30 pm.
Every student should plan

in financial risk management at IBM. After
that, she decided to study public
administration at Harvard because she

4:01pm, Bay Area community members will
participate in a campus
ceremony to
commemorate the assassination 50 years
ago.
Fifty chimes will mark the time in
history the shot was fired at MLK.
