Hundreds of well wishers pack DBH 133 to celebrate the 100th
Birthday of Dr. Dwight Bentel,
Founder of the SJSU School of Journalism and Mass Communications

Dr. Bentel was joined at the birthday celebration by close family members including is older brother who is 102 years old!

Earlier in the Day: Visual Journalism Day

 
Three Pulitzer Prize winning journalists and an Emmy Award winner multimedia
professional, all graduates of SJSU, headlined a day long interaction with
students. Every hour these professionals showcased their work and took questions!
