Accepting Applicants Year-Round
KGO-TV internship program offers qualified undergraduate and graduate students an interesting training opportunity to gain hands-on experience and in-depth exposure to a broadcasting station in a major television market. The internship enables students to work on various assignments under the direction of professional staff and is tailored to provide the maximum exposure to practical work experience for students who are pursuing or exploring careers in broadcasting and related fields.
Selection is based on the student's academic credentials, letters of recommendation and a match between the students' expressed goals with those of the internship program.
REQUIREMENTS:
The internship must be applicable to college course credit. Students must be a junior, senior or graduate student level, and must be currently enrolled at a four-year college or graduate school in the United States. Students should be able to satisfy a minimum of 10 hours and/or a maximum of 19 hours per week (up to 40 hours in the summer).
For SJSU academic credit, 240 hours must be completed.
